Begin your day with soothing tea and a light breakfast as you settle into the sanctuary of these holy grounds. This is your time to arrive fully into a sacred container held with tenderness and reverence.
10:30 AM - Introduction & Setting Intention
We open the circle by sharing our intentions and establishing a foundation of safety, compassion, and acceptance. Each person is invited, if they wish, to introduce themselves and gently set a personal intention for the day’s journey. This creates a shared space where all grief is honored and witnessed.
11:00 AM - Grounding Movement Practice
Grief lives not just in the heart but also in the body. Through soft, intuitive movement, we invite your body to express, release tension, and find what feels nurturing and supportive. This practice helps us connect deeply with our physical and emotional selves.
11:30 AM - Opening Ceremony, Sharing & Communal Altar
We enter sacred ritual together, lighting a central candle as a symbol of honoring the wisdom our grief has to teach us. I will offer an invocation, inviting the Spirit of the sacred to hold and guide us through this deeply powerful and tender work. With gentle smudging, we release our fears and open our hearts to presence and compassion. Then, in quiet reverence and without any rush or pressure we listen while each person is invited to share their grief story as fully as they need to be heard. One by one, participants place meaningful items on our communal altar, a living, tender reflection of love, loss, and remembrance.
1:00 PM - Journaling & Inner Resources
Through guided journaling, we explore the inner tools and anchors that sustain us in the mystery of grief. This practice nurtures self-compassion and helps us connect with our own unique ways of holding and moving through deep emotion.
1:30 PM - Nourishing Meal
We come together to enjoy a wholesome, lovingly prepared meal featuring organic and local ingredients. Eating with intention and presence, we honor the simple act of nourishing our bodies as part of our healing.
2:15 PM - Nature Connection & Mindfulness Walk
We will take a slow, mindful walk through peaceful countryside grounds of a nearby animal sanctuary, where gentle creatures like ducks, cows, goats, sheep, and horses offer their quiet presence. Surrounded by nature’s gentle wisdom, we reconnect with the earth, our senses, and the simple grace of being.
3:00 PM - Sound Healing & Meditation
Rest deeply as you receive a sacred sound healing journey woven with crystal bowls, singing, and gentle energy work. This meditation supports deep integration and brings a profound sense of peace and relaxation.
3:30 PM - Closing Sharing Circle
